Charles Smith

 

CEO/ President of Football Division

 

Charles L. Smith is the founder and CEO of West Pro Management.  He has been involved in Sports Management in some capacity since 1985 when he graduated from Williamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon.  His first job involved being the National Recruiting Director/Endorsement Coordinator for a firm which had A.C. Green and Mychal Thompson (Klay Thompson's dad of The Golden State Warriors) as clients within six months of commencing his employment, the firm disbanded and Mr. Smith represented A.C. Green through the 1988 NBA season.

 

Mr. Smith has been in private practice since 1990.  He has represented athletes throughout the years in paternity and various other family law proceedings along with negotiating their personal services contracts and various other business related concerns.  Mr. Smith is certified by both the National Basketball Players Association and the National Football League Players Association.

Mr. Smith graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor's of Science degree in 1982.  He is also an ordained minister and Elder of his church.
